A Grand Rapids native with national influence, Jasmine has made her mark at home and on prestigious stages like New York Fashion Week. Her work graces the pages of Voyage Michigan, WeddingDay Magazine, The Black Magazine, Vogue Runway, 17:23, and Mob Journal. Her client list includes brides, brands, models, and individuals of every tone, texture, and age.

Yet, Jasmine's true artistry stems from her roots. “I’ve spent years not only studying but experiencing color theory, face structure, and the true fundamentals of makeup artistry,” she says. “That foundation allows me to create looks that aren’t just beautiful—they’re balanced, intentional, and built to last.”

Jasmine draws inspiration from the world around her: the silhouette of a garment, the energy of a model, or the quiet marvel of nature. “Sometimes a flower’s texture or a subtle shift in light is enough to spark an entire look,” she shares.

One of her most memorable moments was serving as Key Makeup Director for Walk the Runway for Water, a fundraising event at MGM Detroit. “I was inspired by how water reflects sunlight during sunrise and sunset—the soft shimmer, the warmth, the glow. It was more than a beauty moment; it was storytelling through light, reflection, and purpose.”

That storytelling philosophy pulses through RoseHand Art & Beauty, Jasmine’s full-service beauty business and growing artist collective. With a handpicked team of hairstylists and makeup artists, she delivers elevated, inclusive beauty experiences for weddings, editorials, fashion shows, and special events across the Midwest and beyond. Her signature style blends soft-edge glamour with editorial precision, always honoring the unique essence of every client.

As a former national beauty educator, Jasmine now mentors emerging talent and offers private lessons for aspiring artists. Her advice for newcomers?

“Be yourself! Develop confidence from the inside out—build upon solid technique, creative exploration, and the sheer passion of intentional artistry. Consistency is key. Be a team player and choose community over competition. Also remember who you surround yourself with plays a key role in how successful you will be. Choose wisely!”

Beyond the brushes, Jasmine is a devoted wife and mother. She navigates entrepreneurship, faith, and motherhood with the same grace, grit, and enthusiasm that define her art.

Now entering a new season, Jasmine is shifting her focus toward makeup direction for fashion shows and creative campaigns. While she remains quietly excited about several upcoming projects, she prefers to let her work do the talking.
